Woods Lake

After riding to Navajo Lake the day before, we took an easier ride around Woods Lake. This is a beautiful, scenic lake with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We rode up into a lush forest that looks like something you’d see in a rainforest—huge aspens, ferns, and amazing vegetation.

We were heading toward the Flat Top destination but were stopped by downed trees that we couldn’t find a way around. We hope to go back and finish this trail in the future.
